Have you ever tried to ride against a 50km/h wind? Can you imagine the strenght you need?
Well this was not a problem for our paraolympic Champion Fabrizio Macchi. Last monday he was in fact in Milan at Galleria del Vento at Politecnico for one-day test.
Alone, with his bike and gear, Fabrizio was put through a 50km per hour wind. A locked room and the strenght of his body against the iced wind.
Fabrizio is the first paraolympic to test one of the most advanced technology to improve his performance.
He will race at the world championship in USA and paraolympics
in London. Tests have been done on suits, helmets and wheels in order to understand which products are most performing and aerodynamic.
As specialist in Pista and Chrono races, Fabrizio tested campagnolo Bora 80 and Ghibli wheels.
Results will be analysed by the engeneers of Politecnico.
